Galavit: Lore and pictures

Here are pictures of Galavit, the first level. And here is a brief description and lore of the area.

Galavit - This star is renown in the libraries of clans across the universe as one of the deadliest stars. The star itself has reached incredibly hot temperatures, burning a bright blue while maintaining its stability. The galaxy is huge and dense with meteor clusters drawn from all over the universe by its intense gravitational pull. As the meteors rotate around mighty galavit, they offer protection from direct sunlight to any ship which could prove deadly to any ship hull. The galaxy is a graveyard for all who stray too far in.

Genesis

Well, here we are, right at the beginning. Tastes a little like watered down lemons and shattered dream pie (will probably always be my favorite plug).

So, Idea's for this game started in late 2008 - early 2009. project was abandoned for about half a year, and before that abandonment the entire idea was conceived. After the revisit only a few things were changed to my liking and though my futile attempts to document my ideas it occurred to me that I would only need to speak to myself in this project. So, all systems go, release the sails and wait for my jolly crew mate being my sense of accomplishment to say, "land ho!"

Step 1, As determined by my notebook, is to wire frame each and every "level". Process should take roughly 3 days being that its 100 "levels" or backgrounds needed. the goal is to draw every background as the main goal of the game is its graphical depth only achieved by a non tile basic.

Step 2, Start filling in background wire frames with templates in a non linear fashion. Probably will take up until the end of summer.

Step 3, Complete level animations. Hopefully only a week long process.

Step 4, Animate characters. will most likely take a month.

Step 5, Triggers, menus, interface, misc. No idea on length
